Cycling in Vienna
The past few years have shown that Vienna is becoming a city of cyclists. The share of cycling has been increasing and its network of cycle paths is expanding continuously. Numerous bike sharing stations allow you to rent a bike any time and go cycling in Vienna.
Many of Vienna’s most interesting spots can easily be reached by bike. It would be a great pity to pass all of them unseen while travelling underground! After all Vienna’s bike culture is impressive: two bike lobbies, its own urban bike agency, many cycling events. In 2013 the bicycle conference “Velo-city” took place in Vienna.
